"After reading all the reviews, I was expecting FASTASTIC. I guess there is a learning curve to be considered. I'm almost ready to send it back, but it may just be my fault, so will give it one more try. Learned quickly that if you put pieces of firm fruit in without covering the chute instantly, you get pieces on the ceiling. I tried juicing kale and other leafy veggies, and found that they were put directly in the pulp chute without touching the blades... all wasted. Dr. Oz says to put flax seeds in the juicer. Well, that is also a waste. Not one seed hit the blades. The blueberries, blackberries and other softer veggies worked ok. A little leakage around the filter bowl was noted, but not bad. What I most object to in how wet the pulp was. I put it back through again, after cleaning the filter, and got two more cups of juice. I think the filter just needs to be cleaned frequently during the procedure. It gets quite clogged quickly. I'm wondering if chopping and steaming the kale before trying to juice it would help extract some juice???? I spent an hour making enough juice for three days, cleaning the filter frequently. It is very good and will stay fresh in the frig. I hope I will find the perfect process to use, but am saving the box just in case."

"I have had the Breville for about a week now. That was after anxiously waiting a month for delivery and we had to drive an hour and a half to pick it up when it finally came in. Thus far, I am very disappointed with it.
I have been juicing for a over a month now with a coworker. We juice in the morning and for lunch and have been using her Jack LaLanne Power Juicer. We juice all types of fruits and vegetables with it including leafy greens and berries without any problems and get a good amount of juice from everything including berries. Was so excited when I brought home the Breville and turned it on. What power!! I was going to go into brag at work about how much better the Breville was. Yep, not so. Hard items like apples and carrots seem fine. However, the pulp is very, very wet. Berries and leafy greens...forget it. Get a teaspoon (if lucky) of juice before everything is shot into the pulp container. Almost has too much power. I have done so much research and read all the reviews and am not seeing what a great juicer it is. Not quite ready to give up on it yet for everything I've put into it but at this point I really wish I had just gone with the Jack LaLanne."

"I have been juicing off and on for over 20 years. My family is now going thru over 25 pounds of carrots a week, and at least that much in apples, beets, and other fruits and veggies. This is the 4th juicer I have owned and had I know how well it performed I would have owned it much sooner. We are seeing a huge difference in the amount of juice we get from this machine compared to our old juicer (which was not a Breville). I tried another well known brand before ordering the Juice Fountain Plus and it was just not the quality I had expected for the money spent so sent it back and was still on the search for a quality machine in the same price range. I will probably never own another brand since using the Breville. If you are just getting started juicing, don't waste your time on others just order this one first & you will never have to know how bad some of the others on the market perform compared to the Breville. I am thrilled with this juicer and so glad I gave it a try. "

"I've had my juicer for about 3 weeks now and I absolutely love it! Before purchasing I did a lot of research and chose the Breville because of the high quality and ease of use, I was not let down. I've juiced numerous fruits and vegetables and I am always amazed at how much juice it yields. The juice is completely smooth, no clumps. The clean up is pretty easy too, with the longest time being spent on the filter but the brush that is included makes it easy. I love not having to chop and peel most of the fruits and veggies I juice with, such a time saver in the early morning. I highly recommend this juicer and am 100% completely satisfied with my purchase!"

"I recently purchased this juicer after trying out a friend's same model for a few days plus reading the great reviews. I had been really impressed by the dryness of the pulp but when I used my new juicer, the pulp was much more wet, almost like snow cream. I hate that I am not getting as much juice as possible from all the expensive organic produce I'm putting into the machine. I've read several manuals/tips on this model and juicing and general and am following all the instructions but my pulp is still soupy. I have contacted Breville and am waiting to see if they have a solution for me before I return it. Otherwise, I LOVE everything else about the juicer, just disappointed that this one doesnt work as well as it can."

"I bought my new juicer this past weekend at Bed Bath and Beyond. I really wanted the top of the line juicer from Breville. I have read almost all of the reviews on all of the juicers. However, the store only had this one. I was a little nervous buying the Juice Fountain Plus. I opened the box today, pulled out the juicer and started taking it apart to clean it. It was very easy to clean and put back together. I got my produce ready to juice. I turned on the juicer and it was pretty quiet, for a juicer. The juicer did its job very well. The pulp was almost bone dry. There were no leaks and clean up was easy. Now what to do with the pulp! I'm not sure how well the top of the line model works, but this one is great and I would recommend it to any of my friends and family members. "

"Wow, is right. Just got our new Juice Fountain Plus and are enjoying it immensely. Two days of juicing so far and doing well. Very powerful and so easy to clean. Have been doing fruit in the a.m. and veggie in the p.m. Yesterday, for fruit juice, we added the pulp to the juice and stirred it well. Excellent and we got the fiber. "This really is a fantastic appliance. I was concerned over the difficulty cleaning it - especially the fine-wire mesh. But just running that under water & using the included brush cleans it up without any trouble! The rest of the parts are super easy to wash, and it comes apart very easily and is a snap to put back together. As for the juicing - wow. As one of the many people that hated veggies, this thing is an amazing tool to get you eating healthy! I thought that the juice would come out pulpy and gross, but it comes out completely smooth with no pulp at all. It is so easy to enjoy a ton of healthy, nutritious foods now! Great price, great product!"
