- Fabulous Juicer!! My husband gave me this juicer for my birthday last year. On average, I use it 6 days a week (sometimes 7), and it is, simply put, a pleasure to use. The machine is powerful, easy to clean and makes fantastic juice. A well-built piece of equipment; worth every penny.

Best Juicer ever made!
Warning, Long preview!
I spent countless hours online looking for a new juicer to replace the $20 one my husband bought my for Christmas. I was just going to buy another "Cheap" machine until I started to look for the "Best Juicer" made. And do you know when you type into the Google search engine "Best juicer to buy" up pops countless pictures of the Breville Fountain Elite and other breville machines. How crazy is that? So i searched for reviews online. I do spend $300 to often. I searched high and low for a bad review and I simply could not find one. Everyone who owns this machine is absolutely in love with it!
But $300? Could I really spend that on a juicer? So I weighed the pro's and cons.
Pro's:
Well built
30% more juice
stainless steel
easy to clean
grinds everything!
less waste
Con's:
Price tag
I figured in the end I could over the next year spend 3 times as much on produce and fruits because the cheap machines waste so much. And I could spend $40-$140 over the next year or so replacing the crappy machine that simply does not work and is a mess to clean. Or, I could trust all the reviews and spend the $300. And that I did. Lucky for me, QVC had it on flexpay so I was able to pay for my new machine in 4 easy payments.
When the machine arrived I was so impressed. It was large, heavy and well built. But not heavy in the sense that you cannot move it around and not to big where you cannot leave it out on your countertop in even the smallest kitchens. The large 3" mouth was amazing to me. I was used to a 1 1/2 inch crescent shape moon opening where I had to cut even a kiwi fruit into pieces in order to fit!
Assembly was a synch! I had the machine put together in less than 3 minutes. I made my first glass of juice using a personal watermelon I had waiting for this masterpiece. I chopped the Mellon up (Barely) and had juice in seconds! I have used the juicer many times since and the same quality every single time. High end performance with almost no waste in the catch bin at all!
And clean up? Clean up was a breeze. My previous machine have like 15 different white plastic pieces that had to be cleaned. There were so many places you simply could NOT clean and mold began to grow. Ewwww! This machine had 4 large pieces to clean (If you don't include the waste bin because I place a bag in that) All of which can go in the dishwasher. But who does a load of dishes every day? I don't. So I needed it to be easy to wash by hand as well. And it is! Because almost all the parts are stainless steel, it cleans to easily. And it comes with this stiff brush to clean the blade. Super helpful!
It takes me about 5-7 minutes to wash the entire machine by hand once I am done.
The ONLY thing I do not like about the machine is where the locking steel bar clamps down to the plastic lid. There is a clear plastic "Lip" which meets the steel bar to lock on. Only, mine doesn't hit the mark every time and has started to scratch the plastic.
All in all, I am VERY happy with my purchase and I am so glad I made the decision to make "Breville" a house hold name. I know I will have this machine for years to come. I just cannot say enough about it. The machine is so beautiful and great at its job. I make fruit and veggie juicer on a weekly basis.

Thanks Breville! - Simply awesome!!! I've been juicing for over 15 years and I used a lot of juicers and I find this one to be one of the best!
- Great piece of gear! I love the power of this juicer! I've been making great juices every day since I received this amazing gift. I find it to be incredibly easy to clean. I rinse with hot water, only needing to scrub the blade/screen. Just two minutes after each use and it looks like new. This juicer is now a prized possesion of mine. Thanks Breville (and Carolyn).

Almost There!
This juicer is a powerful product. I purchased the 800JEXL and with its powerful motor, you get great juice. However, for this to be a great product, the plastic parts need to be eliminated!
This would be a better machine if all parts were metal and fit properly. Because this is not the case, cleanup after juicing extends to counter tops and backslashes nearby covered with juice and pulp that has oozed out from the top cover and sides during processing. The troubleshooting advisory on this is to clean juicer basket more thoroughly, but that does not eradicate the problem.
- good product, easy to clean, solid built best to use a new toothbrush to clean with full force of water from your faucet continuously run, then brush until all the fruit pulp rinses off, normally takes 2-3 minutes. Hope this will help someone who is concern how to wash off the blade filter, I also use a soft sponge with green work dishwash liquid to wash off all the plastic piece to prevent any scratches and build up, I have been using it over a year, it's still look brand new. One more tip, I use a clean plastic bag to cover the extract container and it holds all the extract and to prevent build up, no need to wash later. The left over extract, I convert to fresh fruit cookie for my kid, she loves it.
- simply the best juicer on the market for home use I have been juicing for years. Have been using the Elite for 7 months and find it such a pleasure that I purchased my own last week. A must have for those who make vegetable juice. Easy to use and very simple to clean. Every other week, the parts go in the dishwasher.
