"I haven't been this excited about any product in a long time. Like many other reviewers, Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead is what prompted me to try juicing. I also went online and did quite a bit off research before settling on a juicer. I was very happy to see a Breville in the store because I had read great reviews online. Nonetheless, I'm one of those people who likes to feel and see a product that I plan on spending top dollar for. Although there wasn't a floor model available, the salesperson allowed me to open the box and get a closer look. I was immediately impressed with how compact and easy this product was to use. My first attempt at juicing was a breeze. I LOVE this thing. The juices have been delicious. I really got what I paid for and have gotten two of my friends to purchase one. I'm even going to buy one for my mother for Mother's Day. The only design flaw is that there needs to be a tighter seal between the grinder and the chute so that no juice escapes out from the sides. But this is a very minor issue and does not detract at all from the ease of use and the amount of juice you get. Awesome job Breville!! I've told at least 20 of my friends about juicing and mentioned what a great buy this is. "

"I have been using this juicer for months and it still performs like I just took it out of the box. It makes short work of just about anything I put in it. I would steer clear of juicing bananas and mangos though or you will end up with something that resembles baby food. The only thing that it really seems to have trouble getting a lot of juice from is leafy greens, but I found a solution for that. Take the greens you want to juice and put them in a blender or food processor with a couple of teaspoons of drinking water. blend it up until its liquidated. You'll find that you will get a lot of juice from your greens doing this. Then just pour it pulp and all into the juicer. it does a great job of separating all the juice from the pulp. It takes a couple of extra minutes but it beats having to buy a separate masticating juicer just for greens. I've lost about 20 pounds in the past couple of months through diet change and juicing has been a significant part of that. This juicer is well worth the cost. "

"Just bought my juicer about 5 days ago. Working great. Spinach does not work out very well but great with apples, carrots, beet, tomatoes, kale, celery. Clean up is farily easy, the longest time is for the filter but that takes 2-3 minutes. Hoping to continue juicing regularly. "

"Upon seeing the documentary Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead. I decided to start juicing. At first I tried Complete Juicing. Meaning no pulp is taken out. I couldn't drink the concoction. It was way too chunky and it took hours of cutting and blending to make a few quarts. I broke down and bought this juicer. Not only does the juice taste so much better but the pulp is really dry.It is so fast and it took me 30 minutes to make 6 quart of juice and that includes cleaning it out three times to make 3 different juices. I love this machine. I nearly skipped out of the store when I bought it!

"After I saw the film last week, I decided to give juicing a try. I could not find any Breville juicers locally so I found the site and bought one. It arrived last Thursday on February 9, 2012 and we had juice for dinner. My husband and I have been juicing ever since. We started slowly, just juicing 3 meals in a row. We are now moving to having juice for dinner during our work week. I feel great!!! My running has improved and so has my mood. The juicer works great. " After watching the documentary "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead", I started doing my research on juicers. I looked at many customer reviews from a lot of other manufactures and The Juice Fountain Plus was the Best! So I ordered my Juice Fountain Plus on January 18, 2012. I have never juiced before but was excited to start. I really enjoy my juicer except for an issue with the machine that needs improvement...the Food Pusher blows food out when you go to lift it when adding more produce. And when juicing tomatoes, the air blows the seeds out when placing the pusher back in. I rinse all parts off first and then wash by hand in hot soapy water. This only takes about 20 minutes and is very easy. So far I drink 2 juicings a day, plus 100 ounces of water a day and have lost 12 lbs in 14 days. I have set a personal goal of 30 lbs in 30 days and the Juice Fountain Plus is making it easier to achieve with little prep work & overall performance. I love my Juice Fountain Plus and I would highly recommend this product to everybody who is serious about juicing."

"I have owned the Juice Fountain Plus for three or four years, and it is an excellent juicer! I researched all of the juicers in my price range at the time, decided this was the best, and I haven't been disappointed. Although, my overall usage has been sporadic, at times I have used it three or four times a day, and it has never failed me.

I have had more expensive juicers in the past, and this one is much easier to clean. I rinse most of the parts right after I use it, and use the brush on the blades and screen. "

"I had a Hamilton Beach Juicer that did a good job of shredding any greens but no juice came out. Then I had a Jack LaLane juicer that melted in the dishwasher. Bought a Breville and never had a problem. I accidentally dropped the juice catcher on the floor and now it has a chip out of the side which causes juice to leak when operating. I'm so happy to find out that I can get a replacement part for only $15. I'm also down 30 pounds!!! "

"I recently purchased the Juice Fountain Plus, and I'm loving it so far! The unit does not vibrate or attempt to slide across the counter as some models do, and the ejected fiber is dryer than with other models I have used, which means more of the juice is being extracted. Clean-up is very easy, I just rinse in plain water immediately after use, and give the filter about 2 minutes of brushing.

Solid and durable design are important, and features like the toggle switch for high, low and off, and the sturdy steel arm indicate to me that the designer is interested in creating a lasting product.

I would love to update this review in the future, after I have really put the juicer through its paces. So far, it's handled the first three days of fruit and veggies with great ease.
