new coffee maker -
"We just bought a new single cup one yesterday. The coffee it makes is very weak and not strong enough to drink. It is not the quality of coffee of our old machine. Not worth the money we spent on it."

Machine is nice, but C/Service not so great -
"Bought the 600 refurbished. I've been through two machines already and now out of stock so although Breville (it is under warranty for 1 year and I only purchased June 27th) is sending a refurbished 700, they won't do it until I send back the old machine - so that leaves us without our machine for about 2 weeks (they're in CA and i'm in NC).
Since we do not have another coffee pot available, we are without coffee (makes me cranky just thinking about it). When the 600 was working it was wonderful - hoping like all get out that the 700 refurb sent to me will work or I'm sure I will be writing again. Interesting also to be told on the phone my original purchase date will be expiration of the warranty - no kidding? what about the 2 weeks shipping and the 1/2 weeks since June I haven't been able to use the machine coz it was defective??- guess that's my bad for ordering!
Very disappointing service, should ship the machine out and allow the customer to return the old using the same box and packing - but i will go buy a box tomorrow, ship to Breville and wait ...
Sigh.

Love, Love, LOVE!!! -
"I've owned my coffee maker for about 6-7 months now and love it as much as I did the first day. Yes, it is pricy but well worth the $$s. No regrets!! It's so nice to have a FRESH cup of coffee at any time. No more reheating or wasting coffee. KCups purchased thru' Keurig are discounted when you join the coffee club so all in all I don't find I'm spending more on coffee than before. This machine is fabulous and I'm sooooo happy I have it."

Bottom Line... -
"Bottom line is this machine looks great, works great,and its very convenient but it does not make a strong cup of coffee. And if you love strong coffee, you'll end up using this machine more out of convenience than want. Keep your drip coffee or french press machine handy on those days you want a rich cup a joe. There are a number of different K-cups to purchase. Newmans seems to be the strongest of the bunch.
That said, if you like medium balanced coffee, you should be happy. Hey, my mother-in-law loves it! But she didn't pay $250 for it!" -

GREAT PRODUCT, EVEN BETTER SERVICE -
"The Breville single cup brewer is such a sleek machine in general but when compared to the black keurig machines it takes the cake. The vast array of kcups makes this a most desirable partnership. The my KCup storage and included scoop is such a nice touch. I love the temperature control and speed of brewing. It makes my morning coffee so much easier, all you do is pick a cup and enjoy!
I did have a machine malfunction but the customer service was so superb. I will definitely stick with Breville for all my kitchen appliances.

Love my Breville -
"Bought a Keurig, and 1 week later got a Breville 700 as a gift. Really liked the Keurig, but I LOVE the Breville. It is a quality product!!! I love looking at it on the counter. Other comments about noise are rediculous..it doesn't make any more noise than the Keurig. My old drip type maker made as much, or more noise. The ease of operation is amazing. A cup of coffee in about 25 seconds! What could be greater!"

"I had bought the 600 model on eBay. Loved the machine till it broke. Sent it back to the company as it was still warenteed and to my suprise, I just recieved brand new 700 model. I am now a customer for life. Great customer service.

It has legs -
"Great cup of coffee - however, the coffeemaker is VERY noisy and it nearly walks away from the counter as it vibrates, gurgles, spits and groans when refilling for the next brew.
I received this unit as a gift at Christmas 2010. This unit must have been old stock from wherever it was purchased as a gift (BKC600XL and the production code on bottom is 822). If you buy a unit be sure to get the 700 series! You will not get the beautiful blue backlight but you won't be waking the entire household as you make your first early morning cup of coffee!
I would hope that Breville would make special provisions for someone (me) who owns the following Breville products: Breville 4-slice toaster, Breville tea kettle, Breville Panini maker, Breville blender, Breville Juicer, Breville burr grinder; all of which I LOVE!!
I have always recommended Breville products to all my friends as well.
