- Excellent, sturdy, great design I had a Breville espresso maker when I lived in Aus and loved it. When I moved back nearly a year ago, I bought another one. It makes outstanding espresso everytime, is easy to clean and maintain, and I do love the solid die-cast metal Aussie design. The temperature of the heating plate for the cups & filter, as well as the coffee itself has always worked perfectly. When I accidentally three away the filter, it was easy to order from customer service. I also love their toaster. Well worth the extra price, for both items.

Total waste of money
I've had two of these units now. The first one stopped heating water after 3 months. I don't mean it didn't get hot enough...I mean it didn't even get above room temperature. Breville USA support promptly sent me a prepaid mailer to send the unit back to them and equally as promptly sent me a new one. Now after having that one for three months it will not power on...at all. Again, Breville USA has offered to send me a new one, which I'm waiting on.
Sigh...I would give it ZERO stars if it would let me submit the review that way, but alas, it won't.
Don't waste your hard earned money on this, you WILL be disappointed.
