"Our Christmas present to ourselves was this oven. Needless to say we opened it early and I am glad that we did!
We were looking for a small convection oven to use just for the 2 of us.
Our wall oven due to space is 27 inches which means no convection.
We have cooked, toasted broiled and baked in it. Everything was perfect, even the cookies.
I like the fact that I have a convection oven that is large enough to cook meatloaf and chicken, yet I don't have to use my larger oven.

This is a great oven and worth the price.

"We've had a Breville Smart Oven for 2 years. It has cooked everything from steaks to toast. It has worked beautifully. We use it every day and sometimes for hours, roasting, etc. This year, our Breville Oven baked all our Thanksgiving dishes. The regular oven was full of turkey.

"i was looking for a new stove because the door on my oven closes very fast,and thats a safety concern.that i might not have my hand out of the way fast enough...accidents do happen.

i saw an ad for breville smart oven..went in and read many reviews...than i called my daughter who has 4 reastraunts and asked her if she had ever heard of the product...her reply was yes we one and love it...

i`ll start with energy saver..smart oven pre heats in 3-4 minutes..conventional oved 15-20 min. and it heats up your whole kitchen..living in the az.the summer temps get to 120* here...soo the smart oven is saving energy and me $$$

next convience-you have your smart oven on your counter and you can keep an eye on how your dish is coming along...when you open the smart oven to check the temperature no blast of hot air in your face.the controls are very easy to use...also clean up is a snap.

i have cooked pizza,fish,stuffed chops,chicken,steak,brownies,bread,casserole and of course toast.

i highly recomend this product..happy to report i have only used my oven maybe 3 times in the last several months.

"I bought this oven because my old one (not Breville) died one day. It was more than I wanted to spend, but am I glad that I did. I use it everyday and have found that I don't have to use my large oven as much. It saves on energy cost and much more convenient. I love this little oven. If you don't have enough ovens or just too small of an over really consider buying this, it will make up for the lack of oven space. I have a total of 3 ovens, and when the holidays come I will have all of them going and I bet my Smart Oven will also be used. Great if you are single and live alone this will do what any large oven can do. Great investment. I would give it 10 stars if I could. "

"This is my third toaster oven, and by far the best one I've had the pleasure of owning. It's only my first week but I've already used it for so many things and they all came out perfectly. The most fun was the chicken breasts with the skin on. I read the instructions that came with the oven, calculated the time based on the weight and they came out crisper and juicier than in my stove's oven. I love the convection feature. I had it on my old toaster oven but it was noisy and burned the food. This oven is quiet and the food is cooked properly after adjusting for the time difference with convection. It's so much faster. Frozen fried Tilapia fillets were so crunchy. Leftover pizza was nice and crisp on the bottom crust without the top overheating.
I ordered the oven directly from Breville and the support staff was great. This is my favorite appliance in the kitchen. It saves me both time and money.

"I recently bought this oven, and I am very pleased with it. Afterward I bought the pizza stone and teak cutting board accessories. I have used a full size pizza stone in my gas oven for years, and I liked it because it made even frozen pizza crust crispy and delicious. So I was very disappointed that even though I followed the directions for use of the stone for the Breville oven that the edges of the pizza burned and stuck to the stone while the center was barely baked, not even brown. Obviously, this is an inferior product at a high price, and I plan to return it. The teak cutting board is also inferior, particularly for the price. The top is rough; that is, it is not sanded smoothly. The bottom is even worse. Where places were cut out for handles, it looks like the manufacturer used a dull pocket knife. These places are uneven and rough. Granted it is the bottom of the cutting board, but I have found even inexpensive cutting boards to be smooth to the touch with no gouging and roughly finished details. I definitely would not use it as a serving tray. I would be embarrased for someone to pick it up and notice the cheap workmanship. Although Breville builds a great oven, they really dropped the ball with quality control on these accessories. "
