Worth every penny! I finally got my Breville coffee maker after waiting for 2 months to get it. I am so happy that I decided to wait and not to go with the other coffee machines out there. While other machines may cost less, you won't get the performance and versatility that comes with this coffee maker. In fact, I am so impressed with the quality of this machine that I am thinking about purchasing the BBL600xl blender and smart oven. Keep up the great work Breville!!

Almost Perfect I can relate to the blinking BREW/OPEN THE HEAD comments. Very Annoying. Why couldn't it be more subtle like like my Smart Oven? Also as already stated the BRIGHT white lights are a little over the top, a muted blue across the board would be a nice understatement. What I did to get away from the all the blinking was to open the head and then bring it back down to almost a closed position. This keeps the display illuminated without all the blinking. It will also do this opened all the way obviously. I am not sure if this will affect the heating for the timed brew or not, but this is not an issue for me. I would rather wait 4 minutes if I had to vs. seeing that blinking message all day and night. That said, cosmetics aside, functionally this unit meets my standards. Yes a lot of plastic, and I would prefer a hotter temperature option, oh, and a better price while I am at it, but I all in all I will give it 4 stars. Cheers.

love it I have used and gone threw alot of coffee makers in my life, When I came across the breville Kcup I was not sure at first. but after using it I would not brew my coffee any other way. It is the most used piece of kitchen equipment in the house, The wife loves it for making teas and my kids love the fact they can make hot chocolate, I roast my own coffee and use my own blends in it. the Breville is a solid machine and well worth it!

Amazing I bought the Keurig 700XL the very same day after tasting the "donut shop"coffee at a friends house. There is no guess work -a perfect cup of coffee every time and NO clean-up. I also use the hot water to make my English tea- I just pop the tea bag in the mug-it's as simple as that,no electric kettle needed. You can remove the water tank or fill by hand -either way it's a breeze and is ready to brew within seconds Very easy to opperate, quiet ,a truly unbelievable single cup brewer. Perfect for anyone who lives on their own and want's fresh coffee in 30 second's.I LOVE IT-----and yes, I too tend to drink more .

Breville Gourmet single Cup Brewer I love my Brewer. I use it for hot water a cup at a time. My wife likes it fot the coffee.
I have the timer set to go off at 3:30am - 5:30 am every morning. it's all ready for me to get my 1st cup of coffee in the morning. I like it when the water is low and the light blinks to let you know it. I love it

Constantly cracked out I got this as a gift just before Christmas. The machine is beautiful and it goes with all of my other Breville appliances. I definitely think that it is the best looking Keurig technology coffee makers. It is worth the extra money for the design and extra features. I do with that it was all stainless steel, but it is beautiful none-the-less.

I drink Starbucks several times a day, mostly for convenience-sake. I have been trying the sample-pack of K-cups and like all of them. My only issue is that I have been drinking WAY too much coffee and tea. I am not sure if it is still the honeymoon phase or that I have been home more because of the holiday, but it is becoming a problem.

Simply the Best!!! My wife has been looking at this Breville single cup coffee maker for awhile at the Williams-Sanoma store. She hinted that it would be a very nice addition to the kitchen and she really liked the fresh brewed taste for every cup. So I decided to surprise her for Christmas. Big mistake waiting until the last minute as every single Williams-Sanoma store in New England as well as Amazon and other on-line outlets including the BrevilleUSA site were OUT OF STOCK. Well, I guess it was a popular hit with the general public, but I was undeterred. I kept calling and low and behold the two days after Christmas the Maine store received a shipment of 2. I guessI got luck as my persistence paid off. I gave it to my wife fro New Years eve and it was a huge success when our friends joined us in celebration. The Breville coffee was fantastic. However, I do have to agree with some other reviews which state that it has a bright white light emanating from the touch buttons below the blue LED screen. I understand how this could be annoying to some but it didn't seem to bother us or the guests as the coffee was GREAT. I would most certainly recommend this product and it seems that our guest will be looking for one very soon.

Overpriced I have had a couple of Keurig Coffee Makers and have been very happy with them. I got this one for Christmas. It is very stylish but has to much plastic considering it's price. The most noticeable plastic is on the head mechanism. However, my biggest gripe is the incessant flashing of the Open the Head" message. Come on do you really need that flashing? What did the designers think, that someone would stand in front of the machine an hold a K Cup up to it and expect coffee? None of the Keurigs do that. Why not turn that off?

wished it had a more variable temperature range, but still happy with machine I love the look, design, convenience, and features of this machine. It's a great machine...but there's room for improvement. I wished it could brew hotter coffee/water. I typically drink strong coffee and sweeten it with condensed milk (which is kept in the fridge). by the time I'm done fixing it, the coffee could use a quick zap in the microwave. I also drink a variety of teas so if you guys can combine the convienence of the variable temperature kettle with your single brew coffee maker...that will be a FANTASTIC piece of machine!!!

Quality first This is a design where detail dose matter. Please be patient with my analogy. For Christmas, my new niece was flooded with gifts, most of which were cloths. On gift form Grandmother however stood out & was by far above all others. It was a hand made dress and even form an uncles' point of view, I could easily see and appreciate the quality, and great detail. While the "Breville 700XL" cost more than the others, in this case you almost can't put a price on it's quality. Yes my wife & I have used just about every machine from $100.00 to the $400.00 price point. The 700XL is by a wide margin, the best machine you could get. No I don't work for Breville, and if there were a ten star rating I would give it Twelve. We love this machine. This is my second "Breville" product. I have the "Icon Multi-Speed" and I Can't say enough good things machine. I find the "Breville" products to be some of the best I've ever used. Your quality control is first class.
