Excellent Upgrade from Keurig B Series, Review by Eddie
Rating We had a B70 from Keurig for 3 years. Although just recently the machine has been loosing brewing pressure, we started looking for a replacement. (the B 70 from keurig brewed 4600 Cups of perfect coffee before it started to go. I kept a tab on the k cups for an expense report)
The Breville is a much nicer machine in looks and is far more quieter that the B70
The Startup sounds on both machines were the same.. Water Boiling ect.. When the pressure for the Coffee Brew started, you can tell that the breville had a more consistant pressure delivered.
After the brew process was finished, there is a pump in process that happens. the old B70 vibrated and was quite loud as it refilled the heating chamber. However the breville was whisper quiet, did not vibrate at all!.
There was a definate difference in the taste of the coffee from the B70 to the Breville The Breville had a much more robust coffee taste oprobably due to the new style head and increased pressure in the brew system.

Rating I really don't know what kind of coffee people that rate this product highly have had, but I think this machine is garbage. First of all the only setting where you get a decent cup of coffee is on the smallest size and it is...mediocre at its best. Most of the coffees offered by Keurig are crap. I wouldn't waste my time ordering this product. I'm returning it as we speak. I just hope this doesn't damage Breville's reputation. (Posted on 11/16/09)

Rating I love it! This is the first Breville appliance I've owned, but it is my third Kuerig coffee maker, I just think they are great. They are extremely easy to operate, and they do make the best coffee. A nice feature is the temperature control. They have a default setting which is probably perfect for coffee, but some may want it hotter, and they can adjust it to the temperature they like. Also the timer feature is great. You can program it to go on in the morning so that when you wake up, the water is ready to make your first cup of coffee in the morning... you don't have to wait the 60 seconds for it to heat the water... just pop in the K-cup and you're ready to enjoy your morning brew. Rating I took the leap into the single cup World and I love it! Had been using the Cuisinart Grind & Brew for years. No more cleaning, setting up the pot for brewing etc.
The Breville provides great taste, ease of use, coffee selection and it looks great on my counter top.

Rating I just purchased this product today. I have been using a different Keurig coffee maker for about 3 years and recently had been looking at this model for an upgrade. I finally bought it today. It looks great on the counter and works really well. I like the variety of brew sizes (more than my previous model had) and the fact that it's so quiet. My previous brewer was pretty loud during operation, but this model is extremely quiet when pumping and brewing. I very happy with my purchase. (Posted on 11/8/09)
