- Keurig replacement was the best yet I served in the Military for over 30 years and recently retired. I've had coffee from over 40 countries brewed in all types ways, from pots where only God knows what else it was used for, to fancy machines in espresso/coffee shops in Europe. I bought the Keurig about six months ago and loved it. There was a problem with the brewer not correctly giving the right amount of coffee as the setting displayed in the last few days. I called and was told that I would have to wait until a month for the replacement to arrive. So I asked to upgrade. I just received my new Breville Model BKC600XL. Took two days to get here. This coffee brewer is the real deal. Customer Service at it's best. :) Wish I had this in my rucksack years ago. "Hooah! Keurig leads the Way!" Thanks mucho!
- beautiful brewer with cheap plastic handle I own 4 Kuerig coffee brewers and they are all great machines. The Breville is certainly a beautiful machine that really lift your expectations. I have had the brewer for one week and it has done an excellent job. The noise level on all my other brewers was intolerable but the Breville makes virtually no noise. The water heats up quickly (and quietly). The in tank water filter is a nice added feature. The one thing I cannot understand is why would the manufacturer use a cheap plastic handle on the brewing door? I feel like I have to be extra careful pulling the cover down on the K-cup because the handle feels so cheap it could snap right off. Even the cheapest Keurig I have purchased came with a metal handle. Breville it was a bad idea to cut corners on the single most used item on the brewer.
- WONDERFUL!!!! The Breville is better than Starbucks, the perfect cup of coffee each and every time. I can't wait to enjoy my next cup and it has a very classy look too. I rate the Breville and their customer service 10 paws!!!! EXCELLENT!

This is the Coolest Machine Ever
A friend of mine had one and made me a cup of Chai Tea Latte with it. It was just as good as the $4 cup from Starbucks and at a fraction of the cost. I did a little research, found the Breville brand and was attracted to its' stylish look. I'm not one for electronics on my counter but this was so pretty I don't mind.
I have only had it for about a week but everyone that I have made coffee for thinks it tastes wonderful. They liked the fact that it was always fresh and it only took seconds to be ready.
I have used it for tea. However, I haven't found that I have mastered that yet as I'm using loose tea instead of the K-Cups. My local shopping stores seems to be out of the K-Cups that I'm interested so I have to wait until the vendor restocks. I believe the K-Cups are perfectly formulated for teas so there will be no trial and error, or at least that is what I expect.
In a nutshell.......I would recommend this product to anyone. - Bigest variety of K-Cups For those of you who cannot find a good selection of K-cups at the retail box stores, try Green Mountain Coffee out of Vermont (greenmountaincoffee.com). They have a super-duper variety of coffees, teas, cocoa, etc. Also many seasonal blends throughout the year. You can either order a single shipment, or save with auto-ship. AND when you order 4 or more boxes of K-cups, the shipping is FREE.
- Best coffee I've EVER had!! After owning the Breville blender for 1 year, and seeing the quality, I just had to splurge and get the single up brewer. You get what you pay for! Top quality, beautiful appliance, and the best tasting coffee. My husband gave me some grief over the price I paid, but after owning it for one month, he wants me to buy one for our vacation home!! He loves it just as much as I do. I just wish more stores carried the K-cups, and the ones that do, carry a bigger selection.

excellent and quiet machine
We have a Keurig SE at home in CT, it could wake the dead it's so loud, also vibrate the cup and moves the drip tray from vibration. The Breville is wonderfully silent! (we got it for our vacation home in FL)
I too am dissappointed with the selection of K-Kups at the retail level. We order from Amazon, for a much much wider selection. I like a large strong cup of coffee and have been perfectly pleased with JetFuel by Coffee People, a 50pack is 21.00 at amazon.
