Worth the $ -
"I had a Hamilton Beach Juicer that did a good job of shredding any greens but no juice came out. Then I had a Jack LaLane juicer that melted in the dishwasher. Bought a Breville and never had a problem. I accidentally dropped the juice catcher on the floor and now it has a chip out of the side which causes juice to leak when operating. I'm so happy to find out that I can get a replacement part for only $15. I'm also down 30 pounds!!! "

Well Made, Easy to Use. -
"I recently purchased the Juice Fountain Plus, and I'm loving it so far! The unit does not vibrate or attempt to slide across the counter as some models do, and the ejected fiber is dryer than with other models I have used, which means more of the juice is being extracted. Clean-up is very easy, I just rinse in plain water immediately after use, and give the filter about 2 minutes of brushing.
Solid and durable design are important, and features like the toggle switch for high, low and off, and the sturdy steel arm indicate to me that the designer is interested in creating a lasting product.
I would love to update this review in the future, after I have really put the juicer through its paces. So far, it's handled the first three days of fruit and veggies with great ease.

THE BOMB!!!!!! -
"I purchased this juicer today after spending about 5 hours on the computer researching which would be best for me and my pockets. I am on a 21 day Consecration Fast and will be juicing for the entire time. I figured I better get something good. This is not the first time I'm juicing and it won't be the last. I am so pleased with my choice this juicer is The Bomb! Meaning it blows it's competitors out of the box. It's stylish, quiet, easy to clean and efficient. You definitely get what you pay for with this juicer and then some. So again very happy and satisfied with my choice and purchase and definitely will recommend this to others."

Great tasting juice: Great Juicer -
"There are many expensive versions of it and you can decide but this juicer is more than adequate and it costs, $149.00. I normally take a look at the reviews for an item that I buy. I can show you ways to avoid all of the things I have read at Amazon.
Using low speed all the time and slowly, slowly, just letting the food presser sink down with the food, allows for much more juice. They suggest using a plastic bag for faster clean up. Funny! It takes one second to rinse the tub. If you don't use the tub and you have a bowl near you, you can take the contents, and put it back in the mouth of the juicer and once again just allow the presser to sink down with the food. (I would also recommend taking the pulp off of the roof of the juicer to include in the second juicing. You will know what I mean if you decide to juice.) Perhaps there will be a few more crumbs on the counter, but guess what, we have to wipe the counter anyway. I never use soap. To make cleaning faster, I just fill up the sink or leave the sink full (I rinse the organic celery and kale in a full sink of cold water), add some hot water and rinse the parts of the machine. The basket is very easy to clean if you let it sit for a minute.
.
I would go for taste and a little more work as opposed to the heaviness of grinding the very delicate fruits and veggies

love it! -
"I really love my Breville!! I started juicing a few months ago, but wasn't sure if I'd stick with it. I had friends who purchased expensive juicers, but I decided to start low (compared to theirs) and then trade up, if I had to. Well, I don't think I ever will trade up. My machine juices wonderfully, is super easy to clean, and I love the taste of the juice. Looks good on my counter, too. I was excited to watch "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead" tonight and see that Joe uses MY juicer :) I recommend them to anyone who asks about my juicing. Oh, since I've begun juicing I've lost 20 lbs, my psoriasis is getting better, my knee joints no longer ache, my cuticles stopped splitting, and people are commenting on how great my skin looks.

BMW vs Chevy -
"Yeah, I thought I saved a few bucks. I bought a Juiceman on sale.
It lasted 1 week.
It vibrated terribly, was difficult to clean, and the cutting basket was hard to remove.
It choked and died on some carrot/apple juice.
Lots of people in the USA are crazy over Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead (rightfully so, for those of us who are out-of-shape). So, this juicer is sold out almost everywhere. I found one at Macy's, spent the money on it, and here are my thoughts:
The Juice Fountain Plus is a TOTALLY different machine than other makers' models I looked at.
The packaging is attractive, the instruction booklet it easy to read, and the machine looks good on the counter.
The interior surfaces are molded so they don't have the sharp edges, nooks or crannies, I see on cheap(er) juicers. It really is a breeze to clean, and the juice jug that comes with it is genius.
It's loud on High, but it's more like a jet turbine than a possessed blender. The Juiceman scared my kids.
It's powerful, and it had no trouble spitting out a ton of juice. There was far less material around the basket than there was in the Juiceman. Juice flowed from the spigot, and plant-stuff shot out the rear- just like it's supposed to.
I'm quite pleased with this purchase, and I'm Reboot bound w/ the blessing of my doctor.

Wow Steven!
Thank you so much for that amazing review. It's really great to hear that people are enjoying the juicers just like we hoped they would!
Also good luck to you with your juicing plan!

it really does work -
"First time juicer and I bought it after seeing the film. I joined the reboot and am gradually increasing my produce intake. The tips below on the spinach were helpful (ball it up). I used shredded red cabbage and it did the same thing, sort of whipping into the pulp collector. I guess it was a tad disappointing seeing all of that roughage go into the trash bin but the juice was phenomenal. The bright purple juice of the cabbage tells me I'm getting some good stuff. Don't put bananas in it, do put a bag in the pulp cup for ez clean-up. Use low speed for softer stuff, high for apples-carrots, hard things. "

Love this juicer! -
"we recently purchased this juicer after seeing a documentary on juicing. So far it is fabulous! Easy to use, easy to clean, and makes great juice! I realize now that we cannot juice softer fruits like banana and berries. Is there a part sold separately that could accommodate the softer fruits?
~Breville Response~
hello Caroline,
We're so happy to hear that you are enjoying your juicer!
Unfortunately this particular model does not come with a seperate soft fruit attachment, however most of the softer fruits, including blueberries, are suggested to be used on low speed. We do, however appreciate you giving us that idea for an attachment specifically for softer fruit! I'll definately pass that on to our product managers!
Thank you again Caroline!

Inspired by the film "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead" by Joe Cross -
"After seeing this inspiring film on Netflix Streaming Video, I immediately went to Amazon.com and read many of the 100's of excellent reviews the JE98XL received. Amazon.com was out of stock so I went to Bed, Bath and Beyond to purchase mine. This juicer is an Engineer's dream. Easy to put together, easy to use, and easy to clean up! I plan to juice fast for 60 days and get my "real" self back! Good luck to all those Juice Fasting Folks out there! "

Excelent Quality. Lost 13 Lbs in 5 days, -
"I am "Juice fasting". I am 41, healthy but over weight. I am 5'11" and Weighed 244 lbs when I started. On my 5th day now and I have lost almost 14 lbs.
I Juice fruit and carrots as a base in the morning and afternoon and in the evening I juice Mostly leafy greens.
I had been drinking an extreme amount of coffee. I had not eaten breakfast in years so my body has been in survival mode and I could not take the weight off.
I am going to see my doctor tomorrow and hopefully he will give me the go ahead for a 60 day fast,
