"Upgraded my B140 Keurig to the stunning Breville BKC700XL.

Like other reviewers mentioned, my old Keuring was very loud and vibrated when pumping water in from the reservoir into the unit to heat. Made great coffee, but was very loud, at times.

I always wanted this unit, but it is an expensive coffee maker. You get what you pay for.

Very elegant looks, makes great coffee and is virtually silent! Extremely happy with my purchase, highly recommend this coffee maker to anyone!"

"We had a B70 from Keurig for 3 years. Although just recently the machine has been loosing brewing pressure, we started looking for a replacement. (the B 70 from keurig brewed 4600 Cups of perfect coffee before it started to go. I kept a tab on the k cups for an expense report)

The Breville is a much nicer machine in looks and is far more quieter that the B70
The Startup sounds on both machines were the same.. Water Boiling ect.. When the pressure for the Coffee Brew started, you can tell that the breville had a more consistant pressure delivered.

After the brew process was finished, there is a pump in process that happens. the old B70 vibrated and was quite loud as it refilled the heating chamber. However the breville was whisper quiet, did not vibrate at all!.

There was a definate difference in the taste of the coffee from the B70 to the Breville The Breville had a much more robust coffee taste oprobably due to the new style head and increased pressure in the brew system.

"I love it! This is the first Breville appliance I've owned, but it is my third Kuerig coffee maker, I just think they are great. They are extremely easy to operate, and they do make the best coffee. A nice feature is the temperature control. They have a default setting which is probably perfect for coffee, but some may want it hotter, and they can adjust it to the temperature they like. Also the timer feature is great. You can program it to go on in the morning so that when you wake up, the water is ready to make your first cup of coffee in the morning... you don't have to wait the 60 seconds for it to heat the water... just pop in the K-cup and you're ready to enjoy your morning brew. I'd recommend this appliance to everyone."
