Skeptic No More... -
"There is a saying that you get what you pay for...and it is true, especially with a juicer! We read the reviews and decided on this model; of course it was the most expensive, but so far worth every penny spent. Almost every morning we have made some sort of smoothie...like others have said we throw any number of ingredients into the machine and have yet to encounter one combination that we do not enjoy. We find that these morning drinks keep up held over until lunch without the stomach hunger growls...truly amazing!
Talk about clean up - a breeze; we just rinse the parts in the morning before leaving for work and then do the actual wash up when we get home. This juicer comes apart and goes back together with very little effort. We are feeling good and revitalized due to our new kitchen product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quality machine." -

Probably the best Centrifugal Juicers you can get. -
"This thing is amazing. Very powerful. I understand that for some fruits and vegetables, centrifugal might be less than ideal because of all of the oxidization, but knowing that when I bought it, it is incredibly fast and has an extremely high yield of juice. Some juices might come out a little frothier or airy than desired, but many come out smooth as silk and tastier, healthier and more refreshing than anything you can buy pre-bottled.
Thanks!" -

Worth the price -
"This product rules. I throw pretty much anything in here, including stuff I can't stand on its own like kale, and it reliably spits out quality juice. After just a week, I'm already feeling healthier since I now consume one all-juice meal per day. Not to mention it looks as expensive as it is, so it makes a good conversation piece since I keep it on the counter (though I think people get sick of my juice pontificating...).
Basically, all the positive things I have to say about this have already been said several times on here. It's powerful, efficient, easy to operate, and looks good. So now I'm going to list my complaints:
As someone already noted, it's not the most efficient at greens juicing, but it does work. I do see a good amount of kale juice coming out when I run it. If you're concerned, get a low-priced masticating juicer for the more stubborn plants because this thing rules at the fruit part.
I myself was disappointed by the juice disc's performance with frozen raspberries which, far as I can tell, went into the waste bin in their entirety. I probably should have used the puree disc, but even so, it was an unwelcome result. That was the one bad experience I had, though.
And finally, cleaning the mesh disc is a pain in the ass. The rest of the parts clean up easily but the disc gets clogged with plant matter that rammed into it with 13,000 rpm of centrifugal force. I usually have to brush it, soak it, then repeat three or four times to get it really clean. I guess that's the price of good health though.
Oh, Breville, can you guys tell me if the whole thing about juice losing its nutrients if not consumed within a day is a bunch of nonsense? The only source I hear that from is the insufferable new-agey types, but until I hear otherwise, I am stuck making juice every day instead of big batches." -

LOVE this juicer but need help with greens -
"Hello! I am a huge fan of your juicers and your best personal commercial. I have the Dual-Disc juice processor at home and the Ikon at work. I have turned MANY of my friends and family on to your products. I work in the wellness industry and recommend your products weekly, if not daily.
That said, I am frustrated more so everyday with one area of juicing with your products -greens! I have tried the method you suggested and it only helps slightly. I also own a GreenStar juicer. Just yesterday I used your juicer, juicing melon and kale, parsley, and spinach. I then took just the green pulp (which had some pretty large pieces of unjuiced, shredded greens in it) and ran it through the GreenStar and extracted 12 more ounces of juice - on the second extraction!!! Can you please help me with this? What else do you suggest? Do you have anything in the works?
I want to continue to recommend your products and would love to not have to use two juicers to make one beverage - naturally this counteracts all of the efficiency benefits of your products, which is one of the things I love most about them. Please help me remain a faithful customer, fan, and salesperson (People tell me I need to work for you, I am that much of an infommercial for you. :) ) of your products.
Thank you, and sinccerely,
Casey Coda

Hi Casey,
We are so glad to hear that you are enjoying our juicer! Unfortunately greens are always going to be a problem as masticulating juicers, the ones that grind things up to get the juice out of them, will always work better on greens then our centrifugal juicer will and it's an issue with most all centrifugal juicers, regardless of brand. Now, we have had suggestions that you can try bunching them tightly together and squeezing them into a ball or wrapping them in a larger firmer leaf like iceburg lettuce or even slicing a long piece from a carrot and tying the greens together and running them through that way. While that may give you marginally more, by the very nature of how the centrifugal juicers work, you aren't going to get as much juice from them as you would a masticulating one.
Thank you,
Renee~

Help with Spinach! -
"Bought the juicer and I love it..... Only problem is, not getting enough juice out of spinach! I did 'ball it up' tight and still, not enough juice. Out of a bag of spinach I'm lucky if I see 1 tablespoon of liquid come out the spout. Please tell me what number (tried them all) is going to get me my spinach juice!!!!
~Breville Response~
Hi Stephanie,
We are so glad to hear you are enjoying your juicer! One trick you can try with the spinach or any small leafy veggie is to wrap them up in a lettuce leaf. The centrifugal juiceing filter basket can sometimes not get a good solid grip on the light leafy stuff in order to get the highest juice extraction out of them. The lettuce leafe adds heft and stability to those little leaves and should help you get a nice quantity of juice from them.
Thank you again Stephanie and keep enjoying your juicer!

Juicer and puree in one! -
"I was really tired of being overweight so decided to change my diet and go on a healthy juice diet! At first I bought the cheaper alternatives thinking its all the same. Well after returning the alternative and buying the Breville its in a league of its own! Juice tastes much better without the waste and more of it, bravo Breville!"

Incredible Juicer / Highly Recommended ! -
"II have owned a "cheap" juicer in the past, it was messy and WET extraction, meaning it put a lot of the juice in the trash. There is very little lost juice in my extraction with this juicer. I wanted to buy the Jack La Laine Juicer for the longest, but after all the reviews I read, this IS the BEST and I now know why. It literally 'sucks' the fruits & veggies into its large feeder chute. Apples whole, TWO or THREE CARROTS at a time noooo problem!!! Slower speeds for soft fruit, incredible sweet tasting flavors, and the foam eliminator works great too! At 55 yrs old, working 65+ hours weekly, I am experiencing more energy & stamina. The only down side is I have a small kitchen as the size is a bit much, but it deserves all the space it takes up. I will be experimenting with the other half of its ability tonight... puree time :-) Thanks Breville for an incredible machine. "

incredible -
"we received this juicer as a very generous gift and thought that it was so perfect for us - something we'd never "pull the trigger" on ourselves, but something we use multiple times a day. I'll never buy juice again. it's so easy to use and clean and looks beautiful in our kitchen - we're big fans of this one!"

IN A WORD...AWESOME! -
"Juice Extractor is a perfect name because that's exactly what this unit does. It is amazing at the amount of juice that is extracted from your fruits and veggies when using this machine. The puree disc is great for use with soft fruits like bananas and blueberries, while the juice disc handles carrots, apples and pineapples with the greatest ease. Speaking of easy, this juicer is remarkably simple to take apart, clean and reassemble. I can clean the entire unit and have it reassembled in less than 10 minutes. What I especially like is Breville's attention to detail. This juicer, like every other Breville product I own, exudes quality. I highly recommend this juicer!
