"Since I am the only coffee drinker in my house, the single cup brewer is the ideal thing for me. I purchased this brewer in December 2010 and love it. I always have a perfectly brewed fresh cup of coffee."

"Great cup of coffee - however, the coffeemaker is VERY noisy and it nearly walks away from the counter as it vibrates, gurgles, spits and groans when refilling for the next brew.
I received this unit as a gift at Christmas 2010. This unit must have been old stock from wherever it was purchased as a gift (BKC600XL and the production code on bottom is 822). If you buy a unit be sure to get the 700 series! You will not get the beautiful blue backlight but you won't be waking the entire household as you make your first early morning cup of coffee!
I would hope that Breville would make special provisions for someone (me) who owns the following Breville products: Breville 4-slice toaster, Breville tea kettle, Breville Panini maker, Breville blender, Breville Juicer, Breville burr grinder; all of which I LOVE!!

I have always recommended Breville products to all my friends as well.

"Is this machine constantly suppose to flash "open head"? My other k cup coffee machines always went back to the fixed message of "Ready to Brew". By this flashing, I feel that it is in need of attention, as if the power had gone off. Anyone else having this issue?

"I purchased this coffee maker for my husband for Christmas in Dec. 2010. I chose it after reading many reviews and also because kcups can be used or your own coffee. We love it! I have also found you can use the kcups twice unless you like really strong coffee. I also drink herbal teas and can use my own tea bags to make my tea. It is so great to be able to have my decaf or teas and my husband can have his regular coffee and it is always fresh and hot. Thank you Breville for an excellent product. "

I did find that when I first bought my coffee maker that I could only buy KCups online at Keurig.com but, now so many retailers are selling them it's so easy to try different types of coffee, tea or hot cocoa. "I am really enjoying this coffee maker.

I have been a Nespresso Coffee fan for about five years now. I don't intend to give that up because I love the coffee. I decided that I want to try the Kuerig format and bought one of their machines. I took it back immediately because it didn't give me what I enjoy in coffee.

I am such a fan of Breville. I own at least a half dozen of their products and love them. They perform like professional machines so I decided to by th single cup coffee maker and give it a try. While I don't like most of the coffees that are packaged for this machine, I like the way My K Cup works. I freshly grind my favorite Mexican coffee and use the scoop that comes with the machine to machine according to Breville instuctions. It makes my favorite freshly ground coffee perfectly. I love it because I don't have to make a whole pot that ends up being wasted.

The Breville machine is the best looking of all the KCup machines. It is heavy in weight and easy to use.

I finally found a KCup machine that works really well. It matches the performance of all my Breville machines. I'm going out to buy the Tea Maker this week."
